NASA INSIGHT'S LAST PHOTO OF MARS? NASA's martian NASA INSIGHT'S LAST PHOTO OF MARS?

NASA's martian rover shared one of the saddest tweets on social media about its possible last image of the planet few hours ago.

"My power's really low, so this may be the last image I can send. Don't worry about me though: my time here has been both productive and serene. If I can keep talking to my mission team, I will – but I'll be signing off here soon. Thanks for staying with me," NASA tweeted.

Launched on May 5, 2018, the lander is likely to run out of power this month.

Don’t miss! Tonight is the last chance to experi Don’t miss! Tonight is the last chance to experience a total lunar eclipse for the next three years!

A total lunar eclipse occurs when the sun, Earth and the moon are perfectly aligned.

The full moon will pass behind the center of Earth’s shadow (Umbra) and turn red for 1 hour and 24 minutes during totality.

It is safe to watch the entire stages of lunar eclipse with the naked eye, and will be visible in clear skies.

The next total lunar eclipse in Brunei Darussalam won't be until September 8, 2025.

Promoting Dark-Skies and New Astronomy Adventure Promoting Dark-Skies and New Astronomy Adventure

Our Melilas Darksky adventure concludes today, July 31, 2022. The β€œKembara Angkasa Maal Hijrah” programme served both public members and participants, by offering astronomy outreach and public engagement activities to make astronomy more accessible to the rural community in the country. It also aimed to help the development of new astrotourism in the country, where people travel to stargaze.

Thank you to all participants, our supporters Majlis Perundingan Kampong Melilas & Persatuan Kereta Tahan Lasak Brunei Darussalam (@pktlb) and partner Tourism Development Department @brunei.tourism, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism for making this a special journey.

Milky Way Galaxy Shines at its Best in July Night Milky Way Galaxy Shines at its Best in July Night Sky

Last night was a clear sky that the glowing Milky Way band was easily visible with just bare eyes from one of Belait’s best stargazing sites, Luagan Lalak Recreational Park @forestry.brunei.

July offers the best view of nature’s most incredible wonder, the Milky Way, where the bright galactic center arching overhead all night from Brunei Darussalam.

The Tourism Development Department, Ministry of Pr The Tourism Development Department, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism @brunei.tourism is currently conducting a survey on the public's interest on stargazing in Brunei Darussalam.

The aim of the survey is to identify the stargazing activities that can help to promote and create awareness for the public on new tourism products in the country. Stargazing is the activity of observing the stars and objects in the sky (up to space, even!) as part of recreational and/or educational activities within an area.

The result of this survey is intended for educational purposes only, and not for commercial purpose. All responses will remain strictly confidential.

This survey will take about few minutes of your time.

Scan the QR or visit bit.ly/stargazingBN to complete the survey.
