Built to solve real astrophotography problems – and proudly Made in Brunei.
Smart telescopes deserve smart protection. NanoDome protects from wind vibrations, dew, and stray streetlights ruining your images.
Purpose of the NanoDome
The NanoDome is built around a clamshell-style architecture designed for simple operation, reliable protection, and minimal maintenance. Its core purpose is to let users keep a small smart telescope in a stable, protected, polar‑aligned configuration over multiple clear nights – reducing repeated setup, leveling, polar alignment, and calibration time.
Sized specifically for ZWO Seestar and DwarfLab smart telescopes, the NanoDome provides a controlled environment for unattended operation. Users should verify instrument fit, cable clearance, and full range of motion before leaving any device running autonomously.
Beyond overnight protection, the NanoDome also functions as an effective wind barrier during active imaging. Lightweight smart telescopes are prone to wind‑induced vibration, which can blur frames or cause dropped exposures. By opening only one clamshell half and orienting the raised shell toward the prevailing wind, the dome redirects airflow away from the telescope, significantly reducing shake.
Before each imaging session, simply rotate the dome so the open shell faces into the wind. The raised clamshell acts as a baffle, shielding the telescope and improving imaging stability under moderate wind conditions.
