Bandar Seri Begawan – THE Astronomical Society of Brunei Darussalam (PABD) held their Hari Raya Aidilfitri 1439H celebration at one of the restaurants in Berakas on Friday, 13 July 2018 in the afternoon.

The event was organized to gather members of the association to foster a stronger sense of camaraderie amongst members as well as providing opportunity for fellow members to mingle together.

Present at the event was YM Awg Haji Mahadi bin Haji Tahir,President of the association, YA Ustaz Hj Johar bin Hj Mohammad, the Vice President with 10 other members.

Concurrently, a special meeting was held to discuss the preparation of upcoming events; the July 28, 2018 Total Lunar Eclipse observation, UNISSA’s Mahrajan Hafl Al-Takharruj Opening and PABD 3rd Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Some of the key discussions have agreed for the appointment of YM Saifulbahri bin Hj Ahmad, PABD Executive Committee, as the acting General Treasurer on temporary basis and a proposed date October 28, 2018 (Sunday) at 2 pm for AGM.
