Programme DetailsAstronomy Crafts for Kids by Eco Ponies Garden (1 hour) Kids needs hands on activities to feel more connected to the outer world and astronomy. These fun crafts will make this feel more hands on for the kiddos using natural materials found around the garden.

Astronomy Talk 1: Beyond our Solar System by PABD (1 hour) What is Beyond Our Solar System – Stars, Galaxies, Black Holes and More? The talk by Executive Committee of the Astronomical Society of Brunei Darussalam will bring you farther to explore beyond our Solar System in depth to unveil the mysteries of our Universe.

Stargazing (all night) Join the Astronomical Society of Brunei Darussalam (PABD) to look at the wonders of the night sky featuring the Orionids meteor shower or shooting stars from a rural dark site.

Astronomy Theater (1 hour +) Take off on an awe-inspiring movies of touring our solar system – Earth’s moon, Meteorites, Inner planets and more

Solar Observation (1 hour) Astronomy is not limited at night-time. Learn the techniques to gaze our Sun and Solar Eclipse safely during daytime. Discover the features visible on our Sun.

Astronomy Talk 2: Being in the Moon shadow, Chasing the 2019 Annular Solar (1 hour) Why you need to watch the upcoming Annular Solar Eclipse? The talk will cover the historical significances of eclipses, rare frequency of solar eclipse in Brunei Darussalam and viewing the phenomenon safely. The Secretary-General of the Astronomical Society of Brunei Darussalam will present an informal overview of the eclipse, sharing personal experience of watching the total eclipse of the sun and take questions from the participants.
