<p><strong>The constellation Crux and Centaurus </strong>are commonly used to find south. A straight-line projected from Gacrux and Acrux intersects with the perpendicular bisecting line of Rigel Kentaurus and Hadar will lead to a point close to the Southern Celestial Pole.</p>
